New Steam Cryptocurrency!
I would like to officially announce here first that Valve is planning on creating a new cryptocurrency called Steam Coin that will soon be launched on the Solana blockchain. Steam Coin will serve as an alternative method of payment for Steam products, helping users stay anonymous. Steam Coin will be the only cryptocurrency accepted for payments.

In the next coming days, make sure to monitor @valvesoftware for an official announcement and more details. I have been told Steam Coin will most likely be launched in the coming month.

This forum will be closed to prevent the spread of false information, this post is just an announcement as all of the details are yet to be confirmed.
